Storytelling for Non-Profits is an interactive workshop specifically designed for non-profits to gain needed skills to effectively communicate their unique story to beneficiaries, donors and volunteers. Go beyond the “elevator speech” and move into a creative approach to communicating your passion and vision for your non-profit. With over 100,000 non-profits in Texas (Texas Non-Profit Sector, 2013), every detail of your st
ory matters if you want to be seen.
Serve Houston is honored to have Sarah Woolsey lead our Storytelling workshop. Sarah began her venture into marketing in the non-profit world where she gained a passion for cutting through organizational clutter to get the story at the heart of it all. From there, she found her niche in the agency world in the role of design strategy or what she describes as a not-so-complex-process of asking questions, listening to the answers, and letting the emerging story drive the campaign. She co-founded and spends her days with Kickstand, a small creative agency working with big-hearted brands. Sarah is creative, funny, easy to connect with and the creative mind behind Serve Houston’s communication strategy. We’re proud to work with her and expect you’ll be “wowed” by her creative methodology and genuine desire to make your story heard.
