Clay Dewees

Clay Dewees is a Pastor at StoneBridge Church in The Woodlands and oversees Adult Education and Men’s Ministry there.  Prior to going into ministry full-time, he was a Partner at the international accounting firm of KPMG and later an independent consultant in the areas of strategic planning, organizational development, process improvement and general business problem solving.  Since becoming a Christ follower in his late 20’s, Clay’s primary ministry has been teaching Bible Studies and leading Small Groups.  Clay also spent 12 years on the Board of KSBJ, including a 3 year term as its Chairman, and is active in leading a local community outreach ministry called Legacy Outfitters which reaches out to men who love the outdoors.

Through his involvement in KSBJ, Clay gained an appreciation for the breadth of ministry in the City of Houston and some of their resource needs.  His current involvement at StoneBridge has given him an appreciation for the challenge of finding worthwhile service opportunities for people who want to make a difference.  The vision of Serve Houston addresses both those issues on a scale that Clay believes could significantly enhance the effectiveness of area ministries and provide transformational experiences to those that volunteer.
